Triptych Education - Data Deletion Request
This form allows users of any Triptych Education App to request the deletion of some or all of their data without needing to delete their entire account.
Steps to Request Data Deletion
STEP 1: Locate Your Google email address in the App.
Access your Profile page in the App to find your Google email address linked with the account. Your data deletion request should be emailed from this account.
STEP 2: Click the button below to start an email.
A new email will open, pre-addressed to our support team.
STEP 3: Specify what to delete.
In the body of the email, please clearly state which data you want deleted (e.g., "All Progress Data" or "Only School Affiliation").

Types of Data Deleted and Retention Policy
Data Deleted Upon Request:
The following data types are associated with your **anonymous User ID** and will be permanently deleted from our system when you request **"All Data"** deletion:
- Learning Progress: Activity completion status, progress percentages, skill completion times, and first-attempt correctness records.
- Gamification Data: Study streak, activities completed today, mission progress, and claimed mission rewards.
- Personalization Data: Selected optional unit and school affiliation (School ID and School Name).
- Mistake Tracking: Records of activities marked as reviewed mistakes.
Data Kept (Required Retention):
For security, regulatory, and service improvement purposes, the following non-personal data will be kept for a limited time:
- User-Reported Issues: Reports submitted via the "Report an Issue" feature in the app. These are de-identified (separated from your User ID) and kept for up to **180 days** to track and fix bugs, then automatically deleted.
- Anonymous User ID: Your User ID will be flagged for deletion and deactivated within **30 days** but may be retained in de-identified service logs for up to **90 days** for internal data integrity checks before final purging.
Deletion requests are typically processed within 14 days. You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete.
